Our salon began its journey in 1938, when Elizabeth Arena came from Europe with her family. With determination and custom-dressmaking talent, ARENA BRIDAL SALON opened its doors in the city of Detroit, where it resided for over 60 years.

ARENA BRIDAL & FORMAL was relocated in January of 2000, to a spectacular 6,000 square foot facility in Shelby Township, Michigan. Now owned by Elizabeth's fourth son,  and his dedicated wife, they have devoted themselves to continue the tradition, with the help of their four daughters,  that started as a dream in 1938.

While some salons in Michigan claim the years in business that we have, no one can hold a candle to the 70 years of consecutive, family owned and operated legacy known as ARENA BRIDAL & FORMAL. You can procure a gown anywhere, but you would not receive the attention and red-carpet treatment that generations of brides keep coming back for.
